Message	there are plenty of stories of ppl on this forum who know their stuff, and still spend the cars value + just to keep these beauties in pristine maintenence. and then come the upgrades. not simple like the old stingrays, but then again, fairly simliar with your experience since there are no turbo systems onboard. but most likely you experienced some mechanical fuel injection, if any at all, and the OBD1 on the Z is not too complicated, but is definatly not that simple. good luck to you and welcome to the forum. about the value... score a low miles well kept TT and pay big bucks for it, but well worth it. it will hold that value usually if not highly modified, destroyed or engine swaped or totalled (obviously). I think you will be pleased as the Z and stingray are both very nice and unique vehicles of their time, and both voted in AUTOMOBILE mag's top 25 most beautiful cars of all time. ENJOY THE RIDE! It's not turbo lag, It's foreplay!
